Simply put, a Crak Genius is me.  A Crak Genius is a smart ass, or a wise cracker, which I certainly am.  The name comes from a song by the group Tsunami (which, by the way, is an awesome little indy band out of Arlington, VA that has their own D.I.Y. label called Simple Machines Records... check them out if the mood grabs ya).  I liked the song "The Genius of Crack" and adapted it, years ago, to be my AOL sign-on name.  Ahhhh, AOL, proving that there is plenty of market space in the online world to bring together the computer illiterate.  Anyway, I digress.  After the whole "free trial" turned into massive AOL bills the first month (this was before AOL caught onto the whole 'unlimited' internet usage thing), I dumped AOL in favor of a local internet provider and began to chat on IRC (that's Internet Relay Chat... like chat rooms on AOL or Java chat for those who have yet to experience IRC for themselves).  I again chose the name, changing it to  CrakGnius as the IRC server I used limited screen names to 10 characters.  Fast-forward years later and I found the card game euchre online at a site (called webdeck.com ... don't go looking for it, it no longer exists), that site was bought by excite games... who sold their games to another company, who sold their games to www.pogo.com which, *pant* *gasp* *catch breath*, is where you can find me today.  Pogo games are cool because most include Java chat, so you can play the game when the chat is lame, and chat when the game annoys you.  I generally reside in Word Whomp > 20's > Four Letter Words.  Okay I'm a regular.  They call my name like Norm on Cheers when I come in.  It's truly sad.  I love the place so much I'm setting up a corner of this little chunk of the web to be the Word Whomp > 20's > Four Letter Words homepage (yay!) so you can see what we all look like (boo!) and read our sarcastic and/or completely fake biographies.

Where did everything go??

For those of you accustomed to the layout of my old page... for all you regular visitors... for all my fans... okay fine, for my Mom (hi Mom), who may be wondering what on earth happened to my page, well clearly I have made a drastic change to the layout and design of the page.  I have been uncomfortable with the layout of the site for some time now.  It bothered me to mix pictures of the family activities with the occasionally adult content of this site.  Therefore, Mom, I moved all the family stuff off the site (with the exception of a couple of pictures on the 'About Me' page), thereby allowing me to make this a completely adult oriented site.  In that respect, I shall now include an image of me shaking my bare ass:
